  • breath in for 4 seconds
  • hold your breath for 7 seconds
  • exhale breath for 8 seconds

repeat once or twice more.

This causes an autonomic nervous system shift from a sympathetic (fight or flight reaction) state to a parasympathetic response.

Use this for panic/anxiety attacks, exams, presentations.

i use this all the time. it helps a lot.

this is a form of pranayama breathing!

must remember to do this more often.

Hey guys. I know I rarely post on my personal, but I thought this was important enough.

My name is Cat. I’m 20 years old, Native Australian, genderqueer and disabled in many ways. I’m best known for my roleplay blogs, most notably notyetthevaleyard. I’m also known from the corset community connected to thecorsetauthority.

   And I need help.

I get that most people here are pretty friggin broke. That’s cool. But if anyone can just throw in a few dollars to help me get some power back over my life (as I can barely walk now) and return to art and music therapies, as well as try and stay warm this winter, or just reblog and share, I would wholeheartedly appreciate it.

I don’t expect to get much. Hell, I’d be stoked with a few dollars. But you would be doing me such a big favour and making my life a hell of a lot more worth living.

   Thanks for reading.

   -Cat

Cat needs some help! They’re a great person and has some medical necessities that they need to continue living their life as a functioning person.
